Egypt Air and other airlines transfer cancellation Egypt Cairo

Given the continued tense situation in Egypt currently affected many travelers. Here is an overview of the current situation of some airlines.

contacts Airlines

first Air Berlin:

departures until 14:02:10 to Cairo

• Caution - For all bookings must obtain permission from Air Berlin will be asked
• destination Cairo :
• can be canceled / be transferred free of charge to end February
• the stay must remain the same when you return flight umbucht
• to other destinations within Europe (always in consultation with Air Berlin)
• other destinations in Egypt are NOT canceled but ONLY be transferred free of charge.

second KLM / Air France / Delta Conditions:

departures up 13:02:11: free changeable in the same booking class on the outward flight departures later than 28.02.11.

• if the same class is not available must be paid Upgrade!
• rerouting also allowed to stop here, however, consultation with airline, as Faredifferenz be clarified
• Caution - description must be made not later than 13:02:11
• cancellations are only free when withdrawn from the airline segments (or look on website, whether expressed as gecancelled)
• approval is not required!

third Egypt Air:

• only to departures including February 28, 2011
• free cancellation without permission
• free transfer without approval in the same booking class on later period to the end of the year (but only within the ticket validity )
• to upgrade in a different class of travel only possible by paying
• no rerouting allowed
• the regulation also applies to transfer flights via Cairo so route as well as for transfer flights FRA - CAI - JNB - CAI - FRA

4th Lufthansa:

• ticketing up to and including 28.01.11 - departures to 15:02:11: free refundable without permission for travel agents - free entry only "due to the situation in Egypt"
• changeable in the same booking class, when other booking class, LH Request
• -way must be no later than 31.03.11.
• NO rerouting allows

5th Austrian:

• respect always ask permission (it must be an authorization code from OS to be awarded)
• ticketing up to Departures from 28.01.-27.01.11 07:02:11: Cancellation free of charge
• tickets issued up to 27.01. 11 for departures from 28.01.-15:02:11: 1x free one-way transfer must be made to 30.04.11
• only within the same booking class, ticket validity, and only OS-operated flights.

6th El Al Israel

• scheme is initially valid for departures until 4:02:11 and ticket to 28.01.11
• Caution - may be a free for all must be confirmed by phone Genehmignung
• Tickets XI and rebooking in the same or allows higher booking class

7th TUIfly

Airways recommends to reconsider travel plans to Egypt and offers toll-free changes and cancellations for all arrivals until 07/02/2011
