Wholesale Dinner Plates

DOCUMENTATION OF BONSAI BONSAI COLLECTION

The following article has given us 20 years ago (sometime 1985-1989) A beloved bonsai friend Honorary Member of the BONSAI CLUB TIROL Deomund Aglibut collected. At that time, of course, on paper!

original text of Deomund Aglibut in 1989:

side cutters, pliers and the various tools for bonsai design should not miss the camera and the diary. These are primarily the documentation: they raise but also the view of the essence of bonsai and deepen the understanding of the dimension of time that the bonsai art is peculiar.

A proposal for the diary is the loose leaf. Enclosed is a sample that consists of two sheets. The first page contains the master data at the time of recording of the plant in the collection. The second - and following - the site is for entries afterwards. Those who are satisfied with this proposal, could write his name the same top left of "gathering" before the leaves duplicated be.

are some observations:
  • The botanical or scientific name should be scrupulously observed closely.
  • under "other" name could be the Japanese, English, including name, it held, which can be helpful in foreign language literature.
  • "home": either self-design, name and address of a call source, location of the find, if imported, etc. If purchased, the price.
  • If the plant is a pre-designed bonsai would be the designer's name and date of the design interesting. Rather, the date and do not hold age so that the validity from year to year remains.
  • stages, general condition and starting materials are safe after years of high interest.
  • of creation ("birth year") of the plant next to the design year is important information, but should the "visual age" remain subordinate.
  • to mass (size): The height is measured from the top surface of the earth. In multi-ethnic bonsai forms the main trunk is measured.
  • photos as possible and bigger every year before and after each treatment.

addition to the documentary and the educational value of the accounts, the diary also joy and satisfaction. It will be easier to get a look back and can determine how hard the road was and how far you have already arrived. And if you do also photograph or drawing, then several arts merge into one's own experience together.

given us all much success!

Today, such documentaries are of course made the PC and archived electronically. But you can easily implement this proposal today by analogy with the new technological means 1:1.

I would - and certainly our Deomund, (who unfortunately far away from us, living in Burgenland) - happy if bonsai enthusiasts have gotten through this line to new ideas.
